Provide direct Social Services to children and families. Social Work Services to assist the elderly and disabled in receiving services under and Home and Community Based Service Programs (SPED, Expanded SPED, Medicaid State Plan, Basic Care Screenings, Family Home Care, Respite Care). This position also includes: child protection services, and wraparound case management, foster care case management, foster care placements, foster parent licensing, provide court testimony, court preparations, on call for emergency services, family, and individual social work, educational programs, advocacy, and information and referral.
Requires licensure as a
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners
(NDCC 43-41); and one year of professional human services work experience as a
social worker, human relations counselor, developmental disabilities case
manager, mental illness case manager, vocational rehabilitation counselor,
activity therapist, addiction counselor, registered nurse, employment
counselor, or a similar professional level position in the public or private
sector; OR a master’s degree in social work and licensure as a Licensed Social
Worker (LSW) by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners.

, with a minimum starting salary of $3,586

), with a minimum starting salary of
$3,000 per month. Minimum qualifications requires a bachelor's or master's
degree in social work from an accredited school and eligibility for licensure
as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) as determined by the North Dakota Board of
Social Work Examiners (NDCC Chapter 43-41) within 90 days of employment.
Individuals may be
required to work non-traditional hours. This position requires the ability to
visit clients in their own homes and some transportation of clients. A valid
North Dakota license is required and the employee must have his/her own
automobile and adequate insurance.
