McKenzie County Burn Ban
The burn ban usually runs from March or April until the end of October each year. Done in accordance to ND Century Code 33.01-15-04; on March 15, 2022, the McKenzie County Board of Commissioners approved the 2022 Burn Ban.
Burn permits are required year round!
Burn Permits are required year round and requires the approval of the local fire department AND the Upper Missouri District Health Unit (they issue the actual permit).
