McKenzie County has an outstanding opportunity for a full time
position as a Licensing Specialist with the Motor Vehicle Department.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
A High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of administrative support experience; or any equivalent combination of training and/or experience which provides the required knowledge of skills and abilities for this position.
Effective communication with the public and other office personnel
Ability to follow written and verbal requests
Aptitude for attention to detail and accuracy
Able to multi-task efficiently
Enjoy working with the public and other office personnel
Willingness and desire to learn and accept challenging responsibilities
Examine titles for sign of fraud, such as write overs, white out, water damage, or copies
Verify correct information and forms
Analyze request and provide directions for information by the public regarding registration, titling, motor vehicle excise tax and drive-out permits, passports, etc.
Receive and make phone calls, answer inquiries, route calls/arrange call backs, and schedule appointments
Salary Range: $21.29 to $23.05 per hour, DOE Position open until filled
