MCKENZIE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGER

NOMINATED TO NATIONAL BOARD

McKenzie County, ND— Karolin Jappe, McKenzie County Emergency Manager, has been nominated to the Justice and Public Safety Policy Steering Committee for the National Association of Counties (NACo).

The Justice and Public Safety Policy Steering Committee deals with all matters pertaining to criminal justice and public safety systems, including ?criminal justice planning, law enforcement, courts, corrections, homeland security, community crime prevention, juvenile justice and delinquency prevention, emergency management, fire prevention and control, and civil disturbances.

Ms. Jappe will stay informed on legislative and regulatory action relevant to her committee, and is invited to represent McKenzie County at NACo’s 2018 Legislative Conference in March, and the annual conference scheduled for July 2018.
